March 1 - 5, 2006 - 7pm "The Cradle Will Rock" La Jolla Country Day School - Upper School Theatre Alan Lechusza plays clarinets on this very controversial play composed/written in the late 1930s and originally directed by Orson Wells. March 2, 2006 8pm Side A/Side B #7 This is the 7th season for this dynamic large ensemble project by performer/composer Alan Lechusza. This years concert features the high energy trio The Christopher Adler Trio surrounded by a host of other engaging improvisers manuvering their way through Lechusza's complex compositions. A must see for everyone! March 8, 2006 8pm Seattle, WA Composer's Spotlight Alan Lechusza presents a lecture of his works as a composer and improviser. Hosted by Jack Straw Productions
March 10, 2006 MAD TRIO Galler 1412 Seattle, WA MAD TRIO showcases works from their latest Black Phone Records release "mad trio" (bpr111). March 17, 2006 7pm Newport Coast Drive, Newport Coast (CA) Sage Hill School Instrumental Music Program Features new compositions by Alan Lechusza in collaboration with the Instrumental Music Program. This evening will present the premiere of "balletto", a work originally composed for the Sage Hill School Instrumental Music Program and choreographed by students from the theatre department at Sage Hill School. The concert will be rounded out by 2 silent films re-scored by Alan Lechusza and students from the Instrumental Music Program. This is an evening of fun for everyone!
